Omega Associates & Engineers, LLC has been informed that a perimeter retaining wall is now planned as part of the project, which was not included in the original geotechnical exploration scope. The retaining wall is expected to reach a maximum height of approximately 15 feet above existing grades. This additional project component requires supplemental geotechnical evaluation to assess subsurface conditions, lateral earth pressures, global stability, and foundation support requirements specific to the proposed wall. To adequately characterize site conditions, additional field borings, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis may be necessary. Omega AE's services for this effort include field exploration, soil borings, laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis, and preparation of a comprehensive geotechnical investigation report, along with schedule planning to support the project's design and construction needs.
